Cozy up and make beautiful memories with your loved ones in our warm and welcoming mountain cabin. You’ll be able to soak in that mountain view through the numerous windows and extensive patio space while snuggling up by the fire pits with a warm drink.

Less than 5 mins away you will find yourself in Bryce Resort, a four season resort, offering skiing, winter sports, and golf or pop on over to Lake Laura (8 mins) for water activities or taking a walk along the lake.

The Space

Watch the mountains from sunrise to sunset and beyond with an almost panoramic view. Whether you choose to curl up on the couch or get a little closer by taking advantage of the extensive porch, don’t worry you can warm yourself by the fire pit both indoors and out!

The lower level of the cabin is equipped with air hockey, darts, foosball, a Pac-Man arcade game, and plenty of board games, in case you need a little more entertainment.

Where You’ll Sleep

Be prepared to get some incredible sleep in one of the five bedrooms available for your family and friends. With a total of five bedrooms with seven beds and four bathrooms, you can comfortably have up to 10 guests stay with you at the Mountain View Lodge. Go ahead and get a head start on picking your bedroom!

Bedroom One | The Primary

Primary suite on the main floor has a queen size bed and an attached full bathroom.

Bedroom Two | Queen

Also located on the main floor with a queen bed, desk, and office chair. It also has a private door/entrance to a shared bathroom.

Bedroom Three | Queen

Located on the lower level with a queen bed and an attached powder room.

Bedroom Four | Queen

Located on the lower level with a queen bed.

Bedroom Five | The Bunk Room

Located on the lower level with a twin bed and a bunk bed. We call it the Bunk Room, as it’s perfect for kids!

Four Full Bathrooms

There are four full bathrooms, two on the lower floor and two on the upper floor. There are two with standing showers and two with bathtubs.

Traveling with Littles

You’ll have access to a pack-n- play from 4 Momz, a baby bath, a high chair, and books/toys for kids.

Exterior & Outdoor Amenities

You’ll find spacious decks on both levels with plenty of furniture to relax, along with a gas fire pit and grill on the top deck. We also have an outdoor wood-burning firepit right by the house to cozy up and spend time with your family and friends, and roast marshmallows. As far as parking, you’ll have a large driveway with plenty of space for multiple vehicles.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

You’ll find many perks and amenities at our self-check-in Mountain View Lodge. One of our favorites is being pet-friendly! We welcome up to 2 pets if you have fur babies and charge $75 per pet per stay. Please let us know that you’ll be bringing your pets with you. We don’t provide firewood and ask guests to bring their own if you’re planning on using the wood burning fireplace or the wood burning fire pit. Other amenities included are:

We encourage guests with large groups, who are staying several nights, to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Community Store (5 mins from the cabin) if you need more than what we offer as part of the starter supplies listed above.

“The home is so cool and charming! It’s exactly like the photos. The views are so gorgeous and serene. The location is great! It’s just minutes away from the resort, the lake, the Community Store, Freed’s Biscuit Company and more. Plenty of parking and we found it easily. We had 10 people and 2 dogs and we fit comfortably! I loved the living room and indoor fireplace so much. The deck is amazing and our kids loved the game room. Highly recommend it for a stay!”

“Our stay was fantastic. The family was very happy with the stay. The number one thing we enjoyed was the view of the mountains from the deck in the morning, throughout the day, and evening. The view was also visible from the dining room table as well. Plenty of windows and natural light. So peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood - mostly up the hill to the ski lift, and biked around. Plenty of space to rest in and outside the house.   • You’ll be 2.5 miles away or an 8-minute drive to Lake Laura. The lake features a small hiking trail that wraps around the entire lake. Lake Laura is beautiful any time of year. During the warmer months, you can rent paddleboats, paddleboards, kayaks, and tubes from the Beach Shack located on the lake.

  • Bryce Resort is only 1.1 mile away or a 4-minute drive, offering winter sports, mountain biking, an 18-hole golf course and a scenic lift. Weather permitting, the facility is open year-round. During the winter, you’ll find skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, and snow tubing.

    If you’re in the mood to really explore everything the surroundings have to offer, we recommend exploring:

  • Kennedy Peak Trail, offering 360 views from a fire tower at the summit (44 min drive).

  • For a lower intensity activity check out Cave Ridge Vineyard (19 mins) for a local glass, or bottle, of wine.

  • Swover Creek Farm Brewery (17 mins) for a pint and a farm to table sausage or wood fired pizza.

  • If you’re in the mood for a half day or a day trip, Harrisonburg (44 min), Luray Caverns (42 min), and Shenandoah National Park (53 min) are all just the right amount of road trip away!
